This night, people look up to bright moon that seems a jade in the sky, look forward to their families. People who far away from home, also Take sustenance with thoughts of love to own home and loved ones . Therefore, the Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as “Reunion Festival.”

Our people in ancient times, "Autumn Twilight Xi month" practices. People have worship activities to Luna. In the Zhou dynasty, during the Mid-Autumn Festival, people held activities, such as “welcome cold” and “worship luna”. In the moonlight, peple place big incense table with the big moon cake , watermelon , apples , dates, plums , grapes and other offerings , and moon cake and watermelon are definitely necessary. Watermelon also was cut in lotus-shaped.In the moonlight, people place the Luna statues forward the moon direction, candle with high fuel, all members of family worship the moon one by one, housewives cat the reunion moon cakes.

 Before cutting, need to calculate how many small pcs of cakes cut into basked on the quantity of family, both at home and not. Cakes need to be cut into same size with right quantity.
